Sovetskaia Belorussiia

(Soviet Byelorussia), a republic-wide Russian-language newspaper of the Byelorussian SSR. Founded in 1927, the newspaper was called Rabochii (The Worker) until 1937. It is published in Minsk six times a week. Circulation, 245,000 (1975). Sovetskaia Belorussiia was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor in 1964.
