Shvi
(1) One of the names of an Armenian folk wind instrument, a type of ocarina. The shvi, also known as a pepuk, kavits, or blul, is a clay whistle in the shape of a fantastical bird or an animal with two bodies. It has a whistle head and two finger holes in the lower part of the instrument. The shvi is also used as a child’s toy.
