The ability of an aircraft to take off and clear a 50-ft (15 m) obstruction in a distance of 1500 ft (450 m) from the beginning of the takeoff run. The aircraft must also be able to stop within a distance of 1500 ft after crossing over a 50-ft obstacle on landing.
