Tuan Ch'i-jui
(dwän`chē-jo͞oē), 1865–1936, Chinese general and political leader. He studied military science in Germany and held high positions in the army under the Ch'ing dynasty. After the overthrow of the monarchy, Tuan, a consistent supporter of Yüan Shih-kaiYüan Shih-kai, 1859–1916, president of China (1912–16).
