Soviet-Singaporean Agreements

Diplomatic relations were established between the USSR and Singapore on June 1, 1968. Agreements were concluded on trade (Apr. 2, 1966) and on air transportation (Feb. 14, 1969). A joint communique of Sept. 23, 1970, expressed the desire of both countries to increase their cooperation in various fields. An agreement on cultural and scientific cooperation was concluded on Nov. 7, 1974.
