Vishnevka

an urban-type settlement and center of Vishnevka Raion, Tselinograd Oblast, Kazakh SSR, on the Ishim River. Railroad station 65 km southeast of Tselinograd. Population, 10,800 (1968). Vishnevka has plants for reinforced-concrete sleepers and gravel, a construction-materials combine, and a creamery.

an urban-type settlement in Komrat Raion, Moldavian SSR, 12 km from the railroad station of largara. Population, 2,000 (1969). The settlement is the site of the Vishnevka sovkhoz-factory, which grows and treats essential-oil crops.
