Uglezavodsk

an urban-type settlement in Dolininsk Raion, Sakhalin Oblast, RSFSR. Uglezavodsk is situated in the southern part of Sakhalin Islands, on the Naiba River. It has a railroad station on the Bykov-Sokol branch line. Uglezavodsk has a plant for the production of reinforced-concrete articles. Hard coal is mined near the settlement.
