Vladigerov, Todor

 

Born Aug. 28, 1898; died July 17, 1967. Bulgarian economist and civic figure. Corresponding member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1958).

Vladigerov was a professor at the Higher Finance and Accounting Institute (1938-44) and the Karl Marx Higher Economic Institute (1944-61). From 1948 to 1951 he was the Bulgarian ambassador to France. He wrote on the problems of capitalist political economy. He received the Dimitrov Prize in 1960.
