Pushkino
Pushkino
a city under oblast administration since 1925 and the center of Pushkino Raion, Moscow Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Ucha River and its tributary, the Serebrianka River, the city has a railroad station 31 km northwest of Moscow. As of 1974 it had a population of 57,000, as compared with 21,000 in 1939 and 30,000 in 1959. Industries include spinning and weaving factories, hemp and jute mills, plants producing electrical machinery and metal structures, and a furniture factory. Pushkino is the site of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Forestry and Mechanization.

a city (prior to 1966 a settlement) and the administrative center of Pushkino Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. It is situated on the Baku-Astara Highway, 44 km southwest of the Sal’iany railroad station. Population, 12,200 (1973). The city has an irrigation and drainage station.
