It consists of a small cylindrical or conical cavity into which a number of streams of fuel enter almost at a tangent and, because of their direction of entry into the cavity, a vortex is set up. Swirling fluid leaves from a single orifice on the axes of the cavity in the atomized form. The higher the speed, the better is the atomization. |
