Danish newspaper, central organ of the Social Democratic Party of Denmark. Published in Copenhagen, it was founded in 1872 under the name Social-Demokraten and assumed its present name in 1959. The funds for its publication are contributed by the Federation of Danish Trade Unions. Its circulation was over 120,000 in 1968.
