Arabika
a mountain mass in the Gagra Range on the southern slope of the western part of the Greater Caucasus, in the Abkhazian ASSR near the city of Gagra. Elevation, 2, 661 m. The Arabika is composed of limestone of the Lower Cretaceous and Upper Jurassic periods. Karstic topographical forms (sinks, glaciers, and deep gorges) are developed. Broad-leaved and coniferous forests grow on the slopes of the Arabika.
