Valstieciu Leikraštis

(Peasant Gazette), a republican newspaper published in the Lithuanian language in the Lithuanian SSR. It was founded in 1940 and is published in Vilnius three times a week. It concentrates on clarifying the issues involved in the development of socialist agriculture. Its circulation was more than 200,000 copies in 1970.
