A board game played by two players on a board of 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid, with 64 playing pieces that are black on one side and white on the other. Each player alternates laying a piece on the board, and if a player places a piece so that one or more of an opponent's pieces lie between that piece and another of that player's pieces, that player flips the opponent's piece or pieces to that player's color. After all pieces have been laid, the player with the most pieces showing his or her color wins.
