Ushachi

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Ushachi Raion, Vitebsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Ushachi is situated on the Ushachi River, a tributary of the Zapadnaia Dvina, 45 km from the Polotsk railroad station on the Riga-Vitebsk line. The settlement has a vegetable-drying and a flaxprocessing plant.
