platelet-aggregating factor

plate·let-ag·gre·gat·ing fac·tor (PAF),

phospholipid mediator of platelet aggregation, inflammation, and anaphylaxis. Produced in response to specific stimuli by a variety of cell types, including neutrophils, basophils, platelets, and endothelial cells.
