Unionists

(1) A term used occasionally in historical literature to designate the members of the Conservative Party of Great Britain, whose official name is the National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations.

(2) A widely used designation for the members of a number of parties and groups in Northern Ireland; the term “Ulster Unionists” is also used.
