释义 | Schutz, AlfredSchutz, Alfred(1899–1959) sociologist; born in Vienna, Austria. He emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1939. From 1943 until his death he was on the faculty of the New School for Social Research. He wrote on social science methodology, phenomenology, and the philosophy of Edmund Husserl, William James, and others. His Collected Papers (3 vols. 1962–66) and other English translations of his works were published posthumously. |
