Sil’s’ki Visti
(Rural News), a Ukrainian-language republic newspaper of the Ukrainian SSR, founded in 1920. It was originally named Selians’ka bidnota and was renamed a number of times; it acquired its present name in 1965. The newspaper is published in Kiev six times a week. Circulation, about 650,000 (1975). Sil’s’ki visti was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1973).
