Location:Near the California-Oregon border.
Facilities:Visitor center, viewing sites, photography blinds, hiking trails, auto tour route (10 miles), canoe trail.
Activities:Canoeing, hunting, hiking, wildlife observation.
Special Features:The Tule Lake canoe trail is open from July through September; canoes may be rented from nearby concessionaires.
Habitats: 39,116 acres of mostly open water and croplands.
Access: Open during daylight hours.
Wild life: American bald eagle, golden eagle, American white pelican, white-faced ibis, Snow, Ross' and Canada geese, peregrine falcon, pintail, mallard, gadwall, canvasback, grebes, black terns, tri-colored blackbird.
