Teikovo

a city (since 1918) under oblast jurisdiction and administrative center of Teikovo Raion, Ivanovo Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Viaz’ma River of the Oka River basin. Railroad station on the Ivanovo-Aleksandrov line, 34 km southwest of Ivanovo. Population, 42,800 (1975). Teikovo has a cotton combine, a garment factory, and an evening textile technicum.
