Tekor

a former Armenian settlement in what is now Turkey; situated in the present-day village of Posof, Kars Vilayet. Tekor is known for the fifth-century Church of St. Sarkis, a major work of early medieval Armenian architecture. Originally a threeaisled basilica, the church was later rebuilt as a domed structure with an exterior gallery.
