Arterial Revascularization Therapy Study–CK-MB. A substudy of ARTS that evaluated the incidence and prognostic significance of increased CK-MB after multivessel coronary revascularisation, either post-stenting or post-CABG.Conclusion CABG results in a greater increase in CK-MB than does stenting—the greater the CK-MB increase post-surgery, the greater the risk of death and/or combined adverse end-points at 1-year follow-up. In contrast, increased CK-MB post-multivessel stenting has no adverse clinical significance.
