Tolosa-Hunt syndrome

Neurology A cavernous sinus syndrome, characterized by idiopathic local inflammation, and retro-orbital pain; THS peaks in the 4th–6th decades, ±accompanied by neurologic or systemic findings; it occurs in ±3% of painful ophthalmoplegia; it is a diagnosis of exclusion.
