Scottish Executive Health Department

A governmental body responsible for both the executive leadership of NHS Scotland and the development and implementation of health and community care policy in Scotland. The SEHD works with NHS Scotland to improve health and health services in Scotland, and is accountable to the Minister and Deputy Minister for Health and Community Care who, in turn, are accountable to the Scottish Parliament and the public.
