Toltry
Toltry
(or Medobory), strongly dissected limestone hills and ridges stretching from northwest to southeast in the western part of the Ukrainian SSR and the Moldavian SSR. The Toltry are about 250 km long, and their average width is 5–6 km. The maximum elevation is 440 m; the local relief reaches 60–65 m. The Toltry are the barrier reefs of an ancient Miocene sea; karst land-forms are widespread.
