Ulakhan-Vava

 

a river in the Yakut ASSR; a right tributary of the Viliui River of the Lena River basin. The river measures 374 km in length and drains an area of 12,500 sq km. It flows across the Central Siberian Plateau. The river is fed by snow and rain. The mean flow rate is 62 cu m per sec. The Ulakhan-Vava freezes in October, and the ice breaks up in May or early June.
