An immigration document in Scotland designed to facilitate immigration of needed workers, which is a modification of the UK’s point-based migration system.Overseas doctors who apply for a place on a vocational training scheme (VTS) in Scotland go through a centralised Scottish appointments process. If they are successful they are given a “green card”, which allows them to approach training practices of their choice.
