A communications-oriented programming language using "activesoftware agents", released by General Magic in 1994. WhatPostScript did for cross-platform, device-independentdocuments, Telescript aims to do for cross-platform,network-independent messaging. Telescript protectsprogrammers from many of the complexities of networkprotocols.
