At first Teleskop came out once every two weeks, but in 1834 it was made a weekly. It contained a newspaper supplement called Molva (Rumor). Teleskop published articles by Nadezhdin and Belinskii and satirical pieces by A. S. Pushkin, under the pen name Feofilakt Kosichkin. The magazine was shut down after the first of P. Ia.
