Qualified AcceptanceIn contract law, an assent to an offer that is either conditional or partial and alters the offer by changing the time, amount, mode, or place of payment. Qualified Acceptance1. The agreement by a bank to pay only a portion of a bill of exchange, or to pay only after it changes the terms under which payment is made. This differs from a general acceptance, in which the bank honors the bill without condition.
