Ulia
Ul’ia
a river in Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR. The Ul’ia is 325 km long and drains an area of 15,500 sq km. It rises in the Dzhugdzhur Range, flows through a deep valley between the Dzhugdzhur Range and the Ul’inskii Range, and empties into the Sea of Okhotsk. The river is fed by snow and rain. It freezes between late October and early November, and the ice breaks up in May. The Ul’ia is a spawning ground for salmon.
