Podgaitsy

a city in Berezhany Raion, Ternopol’ Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Koropets River (a tributary of the Dnestr), 24 km from the Potutory railroad station, which is on the Ternopol’-Khodorov line. Podgaitsy has a metalware plant, a bread-baking combine, and a mixed-feed plant, as well as the cheese section of the Berezhany creamery.
