Location:North end of wilderness: 36 miles southwest of Garberville/Redway onBriceland Road. South end of wilderness (Usal Beach): 15 miles west ofLeggett on PCH from Highway 101. Last few miles of both routes areunpaved, steep, and narrow, and may be impassable in wet weather.
Facilities:Primitive campsites, walk-in tent campsites, picnic areas, hiking andbackpacking trails (20 miles), horseback trails, visitor center; nodrinking water.
Activities:Camping, backpacking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:The park's rugged Lost Coast Trailwinds 21 miles through a coastal plateau, with access to ocean vistas,waterfalls, cliffs, black sand beaches, tide pools, and trail campsites.
