Established: 1967. Description:Works to protect, restore, and preserve the environment of Washington state. Advocates for the environment at the state legislature, develops environmental policy, educates and involves the public, and takes legal action in order to protect the forests and wildlife, water and fish, open spaces, and quality of life for future generations. Members: 3,500. Dues: $30/year ($40/year for families, $20/year for students/seniors).
