The various methods to recycle waste materials include extraction, reprocessing, conversion, and reuse. Although most building material waste contains no harmful components, many states have strict regulations about its transportation, storage, and disposal. Common waste products include metal, lumber, masonry, glass, plastic, paper, appliances, asphalt, paints, and landscape-related materials. Most of these materials can be reused and/or recycled. |
