释义 | Werner, Anton Alexander vonWerner, Anton Alexander von(än`tôn älĕksän`dər fən vĕr`nər), 1843–1915, German historical painter, portraitist, and illustrator. He was director (1875–1915) of the Berlin Academy. In the Franco-Prussian War he accompanied the 3d Army Corps in an unofficial capacity as painter.
