a balneological health resort in Taldy-Kurgan Oblast, Kazakh SSR, 110 km from the Mulaly railroad station. Located at an elevation of 980 m. The climate is continental and dry. Annual precipitation, about 360 mm. Therapeutic measures include warm (38.2° and 22.9°C), weakly mineralized springs, whose water is used for baths, irrigation, and drinking. The therapy at Arasan-Kapal is indicated for diseases of the circulatory, motion, and digestive organs and for gynecological diseases. There is a sanatorium and bathhouse and a pump-room for drinking water. The season is year-round.
