Williams' syndrome

 [wil´yamz] a genetic disorder caused by the sporadic deletion of a gene for elastin on chromosome 7; common characteristics include supraventricular stenosis" >aortic stenosis or other cardiovascular defects, a characteristic facial appearance described as “elfin,” mild to severe learning disability, and developmental delay.
