Location:At Mile Marker 85.5 on Windley Key near Islamorada.
Facilities:Environmental Education Center with displays and meeting room, restroom facilities, nature trails, picnic tables.

Special Features:Formed of Key Largo limestone (fossilized coral), this land was sold tothe Florida East Coast Railroad, which used the stone to to build HenryFlagler's Overseas Railroad in the early 1900s. After the railroad'scompletion, the site was used to quarry a decorative stone calledKeystone. Visitors today can walk along the quarry walls, where theycan see cross sections of the ancient coral and learn about the quarryand its operation.
