Drives in Windows are identified with a letter and colon as follows. See cmd abc's.
A: First floppy B: Second floppy C: Main hard drive (HD) or SSD drive D: Second HD or second HD partition or CD/DVD drive E:through Z: CD/DVD and USB drives,

SWITCHING DRIVES ON THE COMMAND LINE
To switch drives at the command prompt, type the drive letter and colon; for example, to go to drive D from C, type:
 C:\\>d: switch drives D:\\> prompt changes
