Win Move Taskbar

To move the Taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the top or side, point to any empty area on the bar, and drag it to the other side and drop it. If the bar does not move, right click any empty area on the bar and uncheck Lock the Taskbar. See Win Drag and drop and Win Hide Taskbar.

On the Right
In order to view long documents, this computer screen is set to portrait style. By moving the Taskbar to the right side, there is generally less mouse movement to reach the icons than if they were at the bottom.
