Win Name of computer

To display the name assigned to the computer you are working on in order to identify it on the network, do the following:

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10
1. Select System control panel (Icon view)
2. Click Advanced system settings
3. Click Computer Name tab

Windows XP
1. Click My Computer on desktop.
2. Click View System Information.
3. Click Computer Name.
