Win Run As Different User
Win Run As Different User
If you share the computer with other users, Run As Different User lets you run your program when another user is currently logged on. This feature is normally available in Windows XP and Windows 7, but not in Vista or Windows 8 (it can be brought back using a convoluted procedure). See also Win Run As Administrator. In Windows XP and 7, to log in with your username and password while someone else is logged in, do the following:
1. Hold Shift down
2. Right click program icon in Start menu
3. Select Run As (XP) or Run As Different User (Win7)
4. Select user name and type in password
