Wrightian style

(1900–1959)The architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, for which this style is named, was characterized first by the Prairie-style house. The long, low buildings with broad, overhanging, low-pitched roofs and rows of casement windows emphasized the house’s horizontal relationship with the site. It culminated in the building of Taliesin, his home and school in Scottsdale, AZ.
