释义 | Wright, QuincyWright, (Philip) Quincy(1890–1970) legal scholar; born in Medford, Mass. Educated at Lombard College (1912) and the University of Illinois (Ph.D. 1915), he taught at Harvard (1916–19) and the University of Minnesota (1919–23). From 1923 to 1956 he taught at the University of Chicago. He was an adviser to the U.S. State Department (1943–45) and to the Nuremberg Tribunal (1945). Among other books, he wrote The Enforcement of International Law through Municipal Law in the U.S. (1916), The Causes of War and the Conditions of Peace (1935) and The Role of International Law in the Prevention of War (1961). |
