Arbai-Khere

city in the southern Mongolian People’s Republic in the eastern foothills of the Khangai. It is the administrative center of Uver-Khangai Aimak. In 1963 it had 6,300 inhabitants. It is a transportation point on the Transmongolian highway. Enterprises relate to food processing, garment-making, and building materials.
