Yug

(Hindoo Cosmog.) Any one of the four ages, Krita, or Satya, Treta, Dwapara, and Kali, into which the Hindoos divide the duration or existence of the world.

YUG

ISO 4217 code for the January dinar, a currency used in the former Yugoslavia. It was introduced in January 1994 but suffered from hyperinflation so extreme that it was withdrawn only a month later. It was replaced by the new Yugoslav dinar, which was pegged to the deutschemark.
