Zapiski Russkogo Tekhnicheskogo Obshchestva

 

(Notes of the Russian Technical Society), the journal of the Russian Technical Society; it was founded in 1866 and was published from 1867 to 1917 in St. Petersburg (Petro-grad). The journal published technical articles, surveys of engineering inventions and improvements reported in other literary sources, and descriptions of all privileges conferred in Russia for inventions (Russian and foreign). These articles were accompanied by explanatory designs. The journal was also published by numerous branches of the Russian Technical Society in Moscow, Kharkov, Kiev, Ekaterinoslav, Tbilisi, Baku, Groznyi, and other cities. It was sometimes called Trudy. Between 1800 and 1866 the Baku division of the Russian Technical Society issued its own publication, the newspaper Bakinskie izvestiia.
