an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Kustanai Raion, Kustanai Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Zatobol’sk is on the right bank of the Tobol River, opposite the city of Kustanai (5 km). Population, 13,000 (1970). Zatobol’sk has a building-materials industry.
